UMK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Razli Che Razak, stated that students should also be grateful for the blessings from Allah SWT, and with His permission, they have successfully been in this tertiary level institution.

He said, "You are the hope of your parents. They want to see their children study in university and subsequently obtaining employment or becoming successful entrepreneurs someday.

"Therefore, you are here in the university not only to gain your knowledge but also to participate in academic and community programmes organized by the university.

"This is a remarkable achievement. Congratulations to all of you for successfully stepping into the tertiary level institution after working hard during your STPM, Foundation, Matriculation College, and diploma studies.

"These new students have made the right choice to continue their studies at UMK because if you fail to secure a salaried employment, there are many opportunities to become a successful entrepreneur," he said.
