KOTA BHARU 14 January 2024 I The Faculty of Creative Technology and Heritage (FTKW) through the Department of Creative Technology and the Department of Design of Dongseo University (DSU) in Busan, Korea, organised a programme titled "Introduction to Regional Regeneration Project and Service Design," which took place at the Ignite Venture Lab (IVL), UMK City Campus, Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan, on 13 to 14 January, 2024.

 The two-day workshop served as a platform for knowledge and expertise sharing between both universities to discuss collaborative design projects and identify potential areas for exploration in design for both institutions.

A delegation from DSU consisting of 10 individuals was led by Professor Dr. Lee Sungpil, while UMK was represented by 10 students including lecturers from the Design and Creative Technology Department, FTKW.

It is hoped that this collaboration will further enhance the culture of knowledge exchange, creativity, and cross-cultural and geographical boundaries, as well as bolster internationalization programmes and mobility for UMK residents.
