The Head of Erasmus Project + CBHE ANGEL UMK, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noorshella Che Nawi, stated that the five main modules that will be emphasized are Understanding Components and Challenges of Green Business, Introduction to Green Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, Sustainable Green Financial Basics, Green Products Financing, and Marketing in Green Business.

He mentioned that these five main modules are designed to promote green entrepreneurship, which indirectly opens up opportunities for potential economic growth and contributes to addressing issues and challenges related to poverty, low job quality, the digital gap and also leadership.

"In an effort to further promote awareness and dissemination of information related to the ANGEL project, two programmes are also taking place: the ANGEL Info Day Program (9 January 2024) and the ANGEL National Conference 2024 (22-23 January 2024).

"This programme has the potential to further raise awareness within the local community, including students, academics, and industry members, regarding green entrepreneurship and leadership," he said at the Closing Ceremony of the ANGEL Info Day 2024 Programme, held at the ANGEL Innovate Unit, UMK City Campus, Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan.230124-03-02.jpg

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noorshella, the organisation of both programmes has provided significant benefits to students and helped promote awareness of green entrepreneurship.

"The organisation of this programme is also an initial step in establishing exemplary project models to familiarize lecturers and students with volunteer programmes that foster sustainability and contribute to the community with the aim of improving environmental quality.

Furthermore, exposure to the younger generation about programmes like these, that preserve the earth provides students with the experience of learning how to care for and plant crops using effective methods, thus safeguarding the earth from future damage," she said.

There are 11 ASEAN universities involved in this project, including UMK, through the ANGEL platform which seeks to help foster the necessary capacity for green entrepreneurship and innovation with the support from Greece and Cyprus.

During the ANGEL Info Day Programme, a briefing session was also conducted by the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business (FKP) Lecturer, Prof. Dr. Raja Suzana Raja Kassim titled 'How to Win Green Business Pitching and Innovation Competition.'

Running at the same time was the ANGEL 3R Competition and Games which were participated in by students, entrepreneurs, and the local community.
